Cognitive Sweat means that I will make your child’s brain work, but in a way that is painless, engaging and efficient. Whether your child has a diagnosed disability, is having difficulties, or you just want to push them to the next level, I will tailor sessions to their unique needs. I specialize in Specific Learning Disabilities and help in the areas of math, written language, and reading. 

I do not offer a single, magic literacy curriculum or approach because, despite the countless programs and multi-million-dollar industry fighting to be the “best,” each student builds their own neural pathways in their own way. The phenomena of decoding, fluency and comprehension are unique and each student processes what they see and hear in their own way.
